Frequently Asked Questions

Get answers to common questions about our JSON to Excel conversion tool

Our converter supports both single JSON objects and arrays of objects. The tool will automatically detect the structure and create appropriate Excel sheets. For arrays of objects, each object will become a row in the Excel sheet, with the object properties as column headers.

You can convert up to 10 JSON files at once, with each file being up to 5MB in size. For larger files or bulk conversions, consider splitting your JSON files into smaller chunks or contact us for custom solutions.

Nested JSON structures are flattened in the Excel output. Nested objects are represented with dot notation in column headers (e.g., "user.address.city"). Arrays within objects are converted to comma-separated strings. This ensures all data is properly represented in the Excel format.

The output is saved in the modern Excel format (.xlsx), which is compatible with Microsoft Excel 2007 and later versions, as well as other spreadsheet applications like Google Sheets, LibreOffice Calc, and Numbers.
